Janice E Miller learned how to sew at a young age, making Barbie clothes by hand using scraps of fabric her mom, Edith Elliott, a talented seamstress, had laying around from her various projects.
In 2014, Janice discovered the art of quilting when she joined a local Quilts of Valor group. What began as a hobby has grown into a full-blown obsession with fabric and textile arts.
The goal of quiltersLab is to bring quilting from the 1970s into today’s modern art era.
